Understand
the risks.

Backing does not eliminate risk.

XDNA on Base involves technical, custody, operational and market risks. Purchases through the approved USDC/XDNA pool are open for owner-authorized live testing with real funds. This is not a full launch: real-wallet acceptance and independent review are pending, and unlock conditions are unconfirmed. This disclosure is not exhaustive and is not finalized legal terms.

01 / CONTRACTS & NETWORKS

Code and infrastructure can fail.

Smart contract risk. Smart contracts may contain vulnerabilities or behave unexpectedly. Administrative permissions, upgrades and transfer controls may introduce additional risk. Contract verification is not an audit or a guarantee of safety.

Blockchain risk. Base and the XRP Ledger are separate blockchain networks, and either can experience congestion, outages or transaction failures. Network fees may be incurred even when a transaction fails. Blockchain confirmations can take longer than expected.

Third-party infrastructure risk. RPC services, wallets and other infrastructure can experience outages, transaction failures or incompatible behavior. Purchases rely on third-party contract code that DNA Protocol does not control: the Uniswap v3 router and pool contracts, and Circle's native USDC on Base. A purchase may first require a separate exact-amount USDC approval for the Uniswap router; approval does not buy XDNA. Purchases through the Coinbase Wallet option also rely on Coinbase's smart-wallet contracts and services.

02 / BACKING & CUSTODY

Reserves require verification and stewardship.

Backing mechanism risk. A backing policy depends on the actual XDNA held in the designated XRPL vault, the amount of Base issuance represented as backed, and the ability to reconcile those figures accurately. Insufficient reserves, incorrect accounting, delayed updates or an inaccessible vault can undermine that relationship.

The Base token contract does not check XRPL reserves. Its minter role can mint up to the contract's cap of 10,000,000,000 XDNA; 100,000,000 XDNA were outstanding at the last dated check (2026-10-06 15:12:39 UTC). Backing depends on matching XDNA actually being held in the XRPL vault. Proof of Backing provides published dated history and a separate on-demand, read-only comparison of both networks. Published history does not update automatically. Neither a historical snapshot nor an on-demand balance match is a custody or live backing attestation.

Vault custody risk. Custody involves key-management, operator, cybersecurity and potentially legal risks. A balance does not show who controls the vault. Custody controls are not yet disclosed, and the vault's account configuration has not been published. Do not assume decentralization, independent control, multisignature protection or special legal protection unless specifically substantiated. The owner-stated one-to-one backing policy does not itself create a direct redemption mechanism.

03 / MARKETS & LIQUIDITY

Prices can diverge. Markets may not develop.

Price divergence risk. Base XDNA may trade above or below XDNA on other networks, and backing does not guarantee equal prices. Demand, liquidity, market depth, trading activity, network conditions and congestion, arbitrage availability, third-party markets and the presale transfer restriction can all affect price.

Market risk. While the presale restriction is active, the token code blocks sending from addresses that are not individually allowed or designated system accounts, so purchasers generally cannot sell XDNA into the pool. The pool price during the presale therefore reflects mainly purchases and any trading by exempt addresses, not open two-way trading, and may not indicate the price you could sell at later.

Liquidity risk. A liquid secondary market is not guaranteed. You may be unable to sell when you want, or at an acceptable price. Independent third parties may create pools, exchanges, applications or markets for Base XDNA. Third-party pools and markets are not official merely because they use the XDNA name, and third-party tools linked from this site are not operated by DNA Protocol.

04 / TRANSFER RESTRICTIONS

A presale lock limits your options.

Presale transfer restriction risk. The Base presale uses a smart-contract transfer restriction, and no binding unlock conditions have been published. You may be unable to transfer, trade or otherwise use purchased tokens while restricted, and no end date is published.

The token code provides a one-time end to the presale-wide restriction, but separate address-level send blocks, receive blocks and partial balance freezes remain available to the freezer role. Allowlist and system-account exceptions also exist. Do not assume that every address can transfer freely after presale completion.

05 / WALLETS & SECURITY

Incorrect transactions may be irreversible.

Wallet risk. Lost keys, malicious approvals and mistaken transactions can cause permanent loss. The verified token code burns XDNA transferred to the token contract address; do not use it as a payment or deposit address. Sending unsupported assets or using the wrong network, contract or recipient may not be recoverable. Purchases made through third-party apps or routes are outside this interface's safeguards, and DNA Protocol may be unable to help recover assets. No refund or cancellation policy has been published for Base purchases, and this website cannot cancel or reverse a transaction once it is submitted to Base.

Cybersecurity risk. Phishing, impersonation contracts, fake pools and compromised third-party services can also cause permanent loss. A compromised website, hosting provider or dependency could show false information. DNA Protocol will never ask for wallet secrets. Use only officially published addresses, check transaction details in your wallet before signing, and do not trust unsolicited DMs or social-media replies.

06 / OPERATIONS & REGULATION

Rules and availability can change.

Operational risk. Operational mistakes, service disruption, cybersecurity incidents or dependency failures can affect participation and data availability. A stale or unavailable dashboard is not proof of current backing.

Regulatory risk. Legal and regulatory requirements may restrict participation, holdings or services in your jurisdiction. Eligibility rules and restricted jurisdictions have not yet been published. Participation may be prohibited where you live; you are responsible for checking before you buy. No claim of government approval, licensing or a definitive regulatory classification is made here. Tax treatment may vary and is your responsibility to assess with an appropriate adviser.

This disclosure is not exhaustive. Final Base presale terms have not been published.
